Minor in French

The minor in French consists of 15 credit hours at the 300 and/or 400 level, of which 6 must be taken in residence. Credits awarded by departmental exam are not considered residence credit. There are no required courses, but the following are recommended:

[ ] FR 312W (3), Communicative Competence: Writing & Reading
[ ] FR 331 (3), French Literary Forms: Prose
or FR 332 (3), French Literary Forms: theater
or FR 333 (3), French Literary Forms: Poetry
[ ] FR 3ELE/4ELE (3), French Elective
[ ] FR 3ELE/4ELE (3), French Elective
Study abroad is strongly encouraged. Please contact the Office of Study Abroad for more information about exchange programs with ISEP (International Student Exchange Program) or about intensive language study at the Institut de Touraine (summer and/or semester).
